Who would have guessed?
So far this years heros are those who were not expected to be. People like McGwire, Sosa, and Griffey have not been doing the damage, but its been people like Chile Davis who is carring the Yankees on his shoulders. No one thought that Davis would ever be doing this good late in his career. Others like Giles and pitching staffs like the White Sox's, have been very good. Although many of the same old great players are doing good like this month's player Manny Ramirez. It has been a good start for suprise teams like the White Sox, and a veryu disappointing start for the Orioles.
How about those Cubans!
The Cuban National team has done something no one ever thought would happen, play a game on a American soil. What's even more amazing is that they won against the Orioles. Then again, every team in America can beat the Orioles too. The Orioles record is just 10 and 17 including there 4 game win streak. That Cuban Umpire looked more like a WWF wrestler pile driveing that crazy Cuban fan. To top of that game, some of the Cubans were thought to have defected into the country when they missed there plane.
